Privacy Policy

The short version. We never ask for your real name. You sign up with a handle you choose. We collect almost nothing, we use what little we have only to run features inside the app (your preferences, watchlist, and rosters), and we never sell your data.

This policy explains what xBALLS ("we," "us") collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the xBALLS mobile app and xballs.live. By using xBALLS you agree to this policy.

What we collect

We deliberately keep this minimal:

Your handle. A username you pick. We do not ask for your legal name.
Account basics (only if you sign up). If you create an account, we store the email address or sign-in identifier used to authenticate you, and an optional avatar you select. Browsing as a guest requires none of this.
Content you create. Posts, reactions, follows, watchlist stars, and rosters you build — so the app can show them back to you and to others where you intend.
Basic app/device data. Standard technical information needed to run and secure the service (e.g. app version, general error/diagnostic signals). We use this to keep the app working.
Age range signal. Where required by law or the app stores, we may receive an age-range category (not your birth date) to confirm you meet our minimum age. We use it only to enforce age requirements and comply with the law — never for advertising, analytics, or profiling.

We do not collect your real name, precise location, contacts, or payment information. xBALLS is free — there is no real-money wagering, so we don't process financial or identity-verification data.

How we use it

To operate in-app features you use — your preferences, watchlist, rosters, feed, and profile.
To keep the community safe (moderation, blocking, and acting on reports).
To secure the service and fix problems.
To comply with the law.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing. We use a small number of infrastructure providers strictly to run the app (for example, hosting, database, and media storage). They process data only on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

Content you choose to post publicly (like a post in the feed) is visible to other users — that's the point of a social app. Your handle is public.

Children

xBALLS is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

Delete everything. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data any time from Profile → Delete account in the app. This is a true deletion.
Browse without an account. Guest mode lets you use most of the app with no personal data at all.
Ask us. Email support@xballs.live to access, correct, or delete your data, or with any privacy question.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

We are based in California. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of it, to correct it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Categories we collect: identifiers (your handle and, if you sign up, an email/sign-in identifier), user-generated content, and limited internet/device activity needed to run the app. Where required, an age-range category.
Sale/sharing: we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
Exercising rights: use in-app account deletion, or email support@xballs.live. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

Data retention & security

We keep your information only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, we delete your data. We use reasonable technical measures to protect it, though no system is perfectly secure.

Changes

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
